Inktober Day 16 – WILD

It’s not a very direct reflection of the keyword “wild” but it’s something that came into my head and that I liked.

I was using a technique I learned (kinda) from Lynda Barry, where when you don’t know what to draw, you just start drawing, very slowly, something that is a known quantity, like panel borders. That gives you a chance to be there, on the page, drawing, and it’s much more likely that things to draw will occur to you when you’re already drawing.

Movement is key.
